Marbled Salamander Setup

i am getting Marbled Salamanders this spring. How many can i keep in a 10 gallon tank? i have been told by the breeder that 4 will be fine in a 10 gallon. i just want to double check this....

also, any advice on keeping these salamanders? as far as food, temps, and tank decor goes? thanks!

i have been to that page, it is very helpful. but it refers to enclosures as shoe and sweater boxes. i have a 10 gallon tank, will 4 be ok in the tank? maybe i should try and request 1 male and 3 females, since the males can be aggressive.

Hi Rachel,

If you provide a seperate hiding area for each of the marbles they should be okay in a ten.
