Illness/Sickness: Marbled Salamander hasn't eaten in two weeks!

Hey guys! I have a Marbled Salamander (named Brad) who normally eats very well. I generally find earthworms for him in my yard and feed him every other day or every few days -- for a while he was even kind of chubby! Now, however, I cannot get him to eat. I think it's been over two weeks -- I offer him a worm every day and he'll either ignore it or bite at it and spit it out. I've been giving him worms from the same location for months -- I just don't understand what could make him stop eating! He's starting to get very skinny, and I'm worried about his health! Any tips or ideas?? Thanks!

Try some different food. Waxworms, crickets, butterworms, etc. all provide some calories, and might spark his interest.

What is your setup like? Hides? Water? Temperature? Substrate? When's the last time you cleaned?

Thanks! I tried some different foods in the past and he would never eat them, no matter what! He has plenty of room to hide as well as a shallow water dish. He lives in my basement, which is at a pretty cool temperature but would not of changed recently. The substrate is moist coconut fiber with moss! Now that I think of it though, it has been a while since I've cleaned his tank. Could that have an effect on his eating, and how often should I clean it to make sure he keeps eating?! Thanks!
