So my axolotl Giles is currently laying her first clutch and I was wondering about the coloringof the eggs. Giles is leucistic and the dad is GFP wild type. Some of the eggs appear to be half white and half black....what does this mean?

The half half coloration simply means the mother was leucistic. It doesn't mean the babies will be leucistic. Hope this helps

The half white, half black/brown has NOTHING to do with parent coloration.
It is the natural process of the egg development.
