I'm a long time admirer of axolotls and I believe I've finally done enough research to be a responsible owner. I can only keep a single axolotl (10 gallon tank) but I feel as though buying a single egg is too risky. Any advice on how many to get/breeders?

If you're new to this you should just get a juvenile axolotl. 3" or so. Very openly available in the "FS: USA" section near the bottom of the forum index.

I don't know if you found anything, but at the moment I'm raising my 4th batch of axies. Theyre a few weeks old.(just getting leg nubs!)I have a bunch of wildtype, and a few leucistic. I'm near Warren and Youngstown. if you'd be interested you can email me espragu1@kent.edu if not, best wishes to you! Axies are a blast<3
