Well i was reading somewhere that sometimes livefoods such as tubifex can carry some sortaparasites that can bring up diseases, such as fungus.
I feed mine a whole portion of glassworm and after that i noticed the fungus on Shadows gills...is this true?

Often it is possible to cause problems with fungus from overfeeding as the poor water quality stresses the newt causing it problems.

There are problems linked to tubifex (T. tubifex) as they are collected from water sources that are heavily contaminated with organic matter (down stream from sewage outflows for example) and may contain other contaminents.
Tubifex are seen less frequently as a live food with the advent of large scale aquaculture of blackworms.
