hey, im just interested to know, is there a limited amount of times the same male and female can reproduce?. i think males can do it as much as they want but females im not too sure.
it takes more effort for a female to produce eggs than a male i think so i assume shed be worn out pretty quick! if you keep them seperated and allow time for the female to recover she could probably breed alot
The take home message of my entire college degree: Eggs are expensive, sperm are cheap. Again, like Sharn said (am I beginning to sound like a parrot today?), eggs are hard to make, and take a lot more energy.
I wouldn't breed a female more than once every couple of months, at most maybe 2 or 3 times a year. Although, why would you want to breed them that much unless you know you can get rid of all the offspring?
