I was given a tank that had quite alot of limescale on it. I've managed to get the majority of with a tame scourer but does anyone have any suggestions on how to get the tougher limescale off? Is there anything safe I can use to clean the tank with? I was thinking white vinegar? will that do?

Thanks in advance!

vinegar might work well

Id go for fake coca cola,

alot of people send lotl's in pop bottles after they have been used,

get a couple of cheapo bottles for like 50p or whatever, let it sit or blast it on a few times and it should shift no problem :)

I always use a razor blade to get it off my tanks, old paint shop technique

When I got my axie tank (second hand.. it was covered in limescale and mold for the past 10yrs... gah).. I had a good cleaning job to do!

I found white vinegar to be very affective.
Also try salty salty water, after the vinegar.
