Hey,

Max's plant is coming to the end of its days :( so we are thinking of what else to get him. We are going to get (hopefully!) another of the same (I don't know what it's called) because he loves his plant and will hate us otherwise! We are also thinking of getting him a moss ball.

Anyway, getting to the point, are lily pads ok for axolotl tanks? We were thinking of getting him one to hide under if he wants to- I've heard of other people doing the same with other plants- or is there better plants for this?

Thanks,

Sally and Dom

Hey, I've got a lily-ish plant in my axie tank and they haven't really bothered with it much. One of them shot right up and had a half dozen leaves on the surface now and the other is just kinda... surviving... lol. I'm pretty sure it was called a banana lily? the lady at the pet store said it was okay for cold water + low light :) I'll see if I can get some pics of it for you

Ive just bought some mini water lettuce after reading that was okay, i guess thats a little similar :)
