...and there was!!Just wanted to post a couple of pics of my tank with my new light,I advertised wanting a cheap one on FNZAS,a NZ fish owners site,and got offered one for free!!It was even dropped to my door!!So lucky!!My plants won't know themselves,grow babies grow!

Just curious, whats the kelvin degrees rating adn watt rating for that bulb, also how big is your tank?

Apryll you lucky thing! Free light, damn! Diablo and Boris look great in their sand setup. What sort of sand do you have or is it a combo of fine and dark sand? Love the coloured stones on the side too!

Hi guys,thanks for the nice comments.I'm loving it,can't stop looking at it!
Stipe,the bulb says 18w/77,it's an osram floura.There is a spare one of those too,and a 20w sunglo bulb.My tank is 75litres.
Kapo,I got 25kg's of pool filter sand for $20 at Paramata Pools in Mana,I'm so happy with it.And the stones are gemstones(amethyst,rose quartz,bloodstone...) on one side,and coloured river stones from the Motueka River in the South Island on the other side.I just got 4 more plants off Trademe,couldn't help myself!Lol!
