Legged Larvae advice please!

Hi,
I currently have larvae divided roughly over 3 tubs but I know that they will be developing front legs in the near future so I know I will need to seperate them again. I know size is important but can anyone advise me on how many larvae per tub I should go for when they reach this stage? Want to do my best to minismise the risk of nibbling! Also Im currently feeding bbs and microworms, can they start to take dead food at this stage?

Have more than 1 in a tub, there will be a chance of nipping.
As for the food, I found they didnt eat non live food until they had their back legs. This is when they start to hunt for it as well.
