Silly question. I have an axie, and she is very round bellied, ermh, fat. Many people seem to think she has eggs in her tummy. But she is the only axie I have, so she cannot be pregnant. Is it possible she would be carrying 'empty' eggs? And would she 'lay' them?

Sorry about my stupidity

from what i've heard they heave eggs all the time, i don't know if it's possible if she lay's them without a male but if she does they wont be fertile, so you dont have baby's.. I hope this helps, and please correct me if i'm wrong!

They will develop the eggs "just in case", you never know when a male is going to show up. She probably won't lay them (most don't if they're not fertilized), but if she does lay a few, they'll not be fertile, just like Leslie said.

Don't ever be sorry about asking questions. Like my professor says, "if you don't know it, chances are there are 20 other people in this class that don't know either".

Thanks for your very helpful replies. That has now put my mind at rest
