Hi I have obtained a couple mudpuppy's from my friends because she was moving and didn't have the room for them anymore. Ive had them for a few months but I was wondering what the laws in Canada Ontario where for them since they are also found here locally. Ive always wondered and finally tried to do some research on google.com but I couldnt find anything and I don't know how to find this information. Help me?

Contact the website or office of the local Fish and Game folks. In most states and provinces, possession of local species falls under these laws. (For instance, here in Nebraska, to keep local native (whether collected local or not) amphibians and reptiles one must have a valid fishing license and not exceed the listed bag limits.) I used this information once to shut down a local (and horrific) pet shop that was selling Cope's Gray Treefrogs.
