Hi, i know there are no many spanish ppl here, but maybe someone can help me. I´m very curious about something. I know it´s forbiden to keep any national caudate in captivity....actually i think any amphibian or reptile...Ô_o Not even captive bred. So there´s no way you can legally own Pleurodeles -for example- here in spain(Quick look at my captive bred marms xD). Anyway what i´ve been thinking about lately is...ok, you can´t keep the national species...but some have subspecies in other countries.....so, could you legally keep dunno...M.a. apuanus, or S.s giglioli???? There´s no way in the world you could have taken them from the wild in spain so i guess it shouldn´t be illegal. But i don´t know if the law aplies to the whole species or just the national subspecies.
Anyone have any information about this? I´m not planing on getting any of the species mentioned hehe, just really curious about this in case i wanted to keep them in a future.
