Well the eggs hatched :D

Here is a pic of one Ihatched in a small plastic container, there are more in the tank.. Five or six in total I think.

Erm WOW! I have just had a good look around the newt tank, I have counted ~25 eggs so far all of varrying developmental stage.

Im going to take one of the newly hatched egg and every day im going to take a pictureof it using my PC micro-ocular lens for my microscope then I'll have a slide show of development.
Im going to do some research at university with one of the developmental biologists and find out the time frames for cleavage and gastrulation after fertilisation for this species then with any luck I'll be able to photograph cleavage and gastrulation etc Woop woop I feel like Spemann!
