Larvae food size?

My babies started hatching yesterday, and I was wondering if these daphnia is too large for them?

I have a brine shrimp hatchery going as well, but the yeld has not been great.

I would much rather have daphnia due to the fact of they do not foul the water as quickly, and they can stay in with the larvae since they are freshwater.

Looks like they are a fine size to me.

Baby daphnia are OK in terms of size, but BBS are nore nutritious. Adult daphnia are too big for newly hatched larvae, but if you have graduated BS sieves you can hold the adults back for sustaining your culture.

BBS don't foul the water too badly unless you add a whole lot more than will be eaten in a small tub. I have found that changing water and feeding BBS at bedtime, then removing excess in the morning a good routine.
