Hey there, I have a GFP leucistic male and a GFP melanistic female that have produced a numerous amount of larvae. They are now just over a month old and I'm trying to figure out what Color types they are. Half are looking wild type, but the other half are much lighter, and showing some pink hues in the gills. Picture attached. What do you think? Dirty leucistics?

Hi Maxxaid and welcome to the forum.
I don't know anything about axolotl genetics, but your little ones all look lovely.
Congratulations.
Hopefully one of the more experienced keepers will be able to help, or you may have to wait until your little ones are a bit older to know for sure.

Yes. From dark eggs leucistics start quite speckled and gradually lighten up. They could remain quite dirty, they could lose all the pigment and be plain pink.

In my experience it is hard to tell for sure what they are until they get at least 1 1/2-2 inches. They will change, and may be different than you think.
