Here is mine CFBN that I "rescued" from a local pet store. Everyone in the tank was dead except this little guy. He was rather lively and swimming around the tank. I quickly got him out and put him in my already established tank. I have had him for a couple of months and he was doing fine, swimming around, eating earthworms and bloodworms everyday to every other day.
Until about a week ago he was always in the water (he came out at night and sat on land until morning) and now he never goes in and at the same time he won't eat. He has eaten anything for a week and will not go underwater for more than a minute. Do CFBNs do this during their life? One thing to note is the water is changed regularly is purified water and all levels are golden. The temperature was about 62-64 degrees and now it's about 68-70 degrees (summer). This can't be the only reason, can it? Has anyone else had this situation?
Thanks for your help.
Mitch
BTW here is a pic of the little guy!
