Land Morph home cleaning

I am currently housing my CO morph on a land based habitat with sand/pea moss/coconut fibers.

I am feeding them sprintails, fruit flies and blood worm.

I am wondering how often do I have to clean up the tank? if so how?

Just one morph? And how large is the container? For just one, you probably don't need to change it very often, assuming that there is no uneaten bloodworm left around. Maybe every 3 months or so.

Obviously, if you see mold, or it smells bad, then you need to change it right away. How? Move the newt to a small container with damp paper towels, and completely re-make the setup. Or... if it doesn't seem very dirty, just remove the top layer of substrate and replace it.

I have one morph inside of a yogurt cup and I change out his/her substrate(worm bin dirt) once every few weeks...when it starts to look a bit too wet.

I have 19 morphs in a 5 gallon low and wide plastic container. The subtrate is partially black aquarium sand mixed with cocnut fiber and dead leaves and partially large stone and partially pea moss with coconut fiber mix. And also partially small gravels and some plastic area of the container.

The morphs select the place they like to stay by their own preference. I have been feeding them fruit flies and some springtails. And now I finally started feeding them blood worm by handfeeding.

Maybe I will change the subtrate after two more months. Do you think it will be helpful to plant some pathos in the container? The only problem is that I rarely cast any light on it.

The container size that matters is the dimension of length x width. I'm not sure what size a 5-gallon would be, but I'm thinking it's a bit small for 19 of them. I try not to keep more than about 10/container, and I'm using containers that are about 16 x 10 inches.

They would probably like some hiding places. Pothos would work, or some terrarium moss.
