So i have a fully grown male leusictic and a female wild type who has laid her second batch of eggs. i also have a leusictic and wild type from there last batch this last winter. i was wondering if any one has any tips on brine shrimp. last time i used daphnia majority of the daphnia i got were too big for the young and i didnt have finances to buy more daphnia so had to cull half the batch so i want to try brine shrimp this time. ill put up pictures of the eggs later tonight. any help is greatly appriciated!!!!!

also wondering if any one has expierience with making home made fish tank dividers? i have a 20 gallon i keep the younger ones in and a 75 i keep the 2 adults in. once the ones from this new batch get big enough im gunna want to put them in the 25 but dont know if the 2 young ones will be big enough to put in with the adults by then. also last time she laid eggs she got aggressive with the male for quite some time so would like to try and keep them separate this time. just dont want to pay almost $30 for a divider to fit my tank.

There is a good tutorial here, and there are videos on youtube for brineshrimp hatching. You can get everything you need off ebay or amazon, or you can make your own. I have one hatchery using a 'proper' kit, one I made from an old ballpoint pen, a coke bottle and duct tape, and one I put together from a coke bottle with a drill and aquarium silicone. All work.

As far as a divider goes you can make your own with nylon netting and acrylic strips - again youtube has some great tutorials.

i cant seem to find any were that sells nylon netting. maybe menards? i dont have any pet stores near me and walmart quit selling majority of there aquatic supplies.

You need a fabric shop. Any kind of manmade netting will do - try tutu net or hat net - nylon or acrylic so it won't rot when it's wet. Or try online.
