Hello everyone! Just finished setting Lacoste's tank which took me about 2 months. Probably i could have made it 1 or 2 dayz if a had had all materials and plants which i needed.
at first it looked like this

The only thing i want to add is nightlightning, something like dark blue, cuz axie is usually more active at night.

that tank is fantastic, what a difference from the first attempt, you should be very proud of your tank and your axie looks like he likes it too, i like the grass type plants you have growing along the bottom. i love your tank and thank you for sharing your pictures, keep it up. great job.

nice bed of Riccia and are those cherry shrimp? Freshwater shrimp are very underrated, in my opinion. I love them. I am also workin on a similar habitat. Hope mine ends up as nice as yours.

Wow! This set up's sooooo beautiful! Perfect! And your axie looks so cute too, I wish I can find a white axie boyfriend for my wild type girl too!

Whats the name of the moss like plant. It makes the tank look very nice

Thats riccia. Hard thing about this plant is that in nature it floats, so, to make it look like this you'll have to attach riccia to the ground by yourself with fishing net or smthin.

Well done Waterfak, not only beautiful to look at but a fab and fun place for your Axie!

Chapeau...

That is such a beautiful tank setting! Now I want to redecorate!

P,
By underrated i meant, here they sell shrimp to be fed to other fish. they are not used as pet, so people view them as disposable. They sell like 2 dollars for a dozen. Shrimp like the amano and cherry red, bee shrimp, etc. are hard to come buy and cost too much for people here. The average person doesn't want to spend 5 dollars for a fancy shrimp.

Gorgeous !

What did you attach your riccia with ?

I've never seen that plant before. What do you need in your tank for plants to survive ?

i used fishing net. 2-3 dayz after setting up riccia grows trough the net so u dont see it.
Actually i dont have any hard-in-keeping plants, but still at least riccia needs good lightning. The other thing you need is good filter, becuz axies a messy pets, and plants dont like dirty water. Also i added CO2 reactor (middle small pipe).

Amazing!Really beautiful!! But I quess its quite difficult to keep clean? How do you clean it all?

That is INCREDIBLE!
I keep Paleomontes shrimp (glass shrimp) but I agree, they're great cleaners!
I wish my tank was as beautiful - whenever I get a tank "just right" - it never looks any good on a camera...

Awesome tank! Everyone else has pretty much said what I was going to say.

It looks beautiful, specially the patches of riccia. What kind of background are you using? It looks very natural. Doesn't your axie eat all the shrimp?

Wow - amazing!

By the way, thats a red crystal shrimp you got there (red with white stripes). They cost 16 dollars for one shrimp here in Norway (at least in the pet shops) The otherone is a red cherry shrimp.
