Hi,
I'm Andrea Mangoni, from Italy. sorry for my bad english. I've found this adult male of L. vulgaris, near Venezia, and I would know if is it an albino or leucystic specimen. it has black eye, so I think is the second choice....
Thanks a lot,

Andrea

ciao Andrea!anche tu qui?:)

I really think that's a leucistic specimen!;-)

very nice animals, i would also say leucistic, even though there seems to be a red gleam in the eye, but could that be the flash?

ciao Leonardo! sì, qui per esigenze di identificazione, come vedi...
yes William, it's the red spot from the camera flash.

wow-hes a really nice looking fellow-since the eyes arent red he probably isnt an albino (albinos can be partial to one specific colour or for all colours), i see that he can produce the white pigment as well as his eye colour-so leucistic is my guess also.....its cool that he's so pigmentless you can see his tail bones!

Is this vulgaris meridionalis?

yes, it's a male of vulgaris meridionalis, from Italy (almost 20 km between Venezia and Padova).
