Where's a good place to order live food from the internet.
I'm after waxmoth larvae or anything good for baby T. kweichowlings.
I looked into Tropical woodlice but they take 2 months to culture and get babies.
I'll keep trying with Bloodworms too, but they dont seem to take them

advice, links, anyone, cheers,,,, , ,

Cut up earthworms, bean beetles, hatchling crickets, fruit flies, firebrats...those are one of the things I'd try? Since you live in England (don't know if it's ok to link this site, mods?) I'd try http://www.dartfrog.co.uk/livefoods.html, who seem to have a good offer of live food.

My baby kweichowlings are getting cut-up nightcrawlers almost exclusively. In their tub, they have a shallow dish with pebbles and just a trace of water. I put the cut up worms in there, and a few hours later I clean out the dish. The pieces disappear (I can count them), and the newts grow:)

Thanks, It's always useful to hear how other people do things.
I've ordered some tropical woodlice and will try some small chopped earthworms too, can't tell if they are taking the bloodworm or not..

Also, Are dried leaves from the park OK for hiding or will they be acidic or anything? no pestacides obviously..
