You'd be better off with sand instead of gravel - it can cause impaction, like constipation, but deadly.

If you have a look round, you can actually buy many different sand colours!

If King Twisty Tydus Twistyvum of duvet land is the name of your axolotl, that is really cool and I like you. I am glad other people have similar naming convesntions as me. lot more fun than calling one bob the axolotl. but on the other hand Bob the axolotl is a pretty cool name...

As a matter of fact in his new set up he DOES have a castle and is actually QUEEN twisty now we found out at the weekends!

Queen twisty reminds me of icecream, and yes icecream is good therefor the name is good.
You should give your queen a crown in your avatar

the name does seem to flow better and seems to fit well with a pink 'lotl. I hope the kingdom (rather queendom) goes well and the peasents do not revolt.
