Keeping tubifex worms

Does anyone know how to keep tubifex worms? I have loads of live ones in a bag in the fridge but I'd like to keep them "properly"

Just read this:

"It is most economically important to humans as a host of Myxobolus cerebralis, which causes disease in fish stocks. No other worms are known to harbor this parasite. Care should be taken when feeding Tubifex to aquarium fish."

I am now worried!!!

Give them lots of mud and dead leaves and rotten fruit and that is how I bred my tubifexs.

Make sure it is wet.
