Keeping eggs and larvae.

I'm thinking of finding one of those fine mesh screen baskets you clip on the side of a fish tank to protect newly hatched fish. I'd like to just keep my eggs and young larvae in there.

Has anyone tried that?

If not, what has worked best for you?

best to put them in a separate container-as they are in an open topped containment facility adults can climb onto and into it and just have a captive banquet plus much of the live food for larvae may be able to escape and thus not be accessible to your young and hungry guys-where as their siblings tail and or arm or foot may still be on the menu.
