Keeping Different Species Together

I have had a blue-spotted salamander and a spotted salamander divided in the same tank for a while. However, I was wondering if they need to be divided or if they can simply roam about together. The blue-spotted is about 2/3 the size of the spotted salamander. Thanks for the help!
 
You might could get away with it. Blue-spots are more aggressive about food than spotteds are. So you'd have to watch the food intake and make sure the blue-spot isn't picking on the spotted, even though it's bigger.

I'd say maybe, as long as you can be reasonably assured the spotted won't eat the blue-spot.
