elliot, oh there axolotl pellets... although they don't seem to be able to feed themselves... there very dependant on me
lol.gif

doesnt it go all soggy and flow up? hhha my axies useless on its own, i have to hand feed it using chop sticks, even if do hand feed it, it either bites my fingers or the chops sticks n misses the food entirely so it takes me ages to get it to eat

i now feed them the pellets by dropping them in front of their faces. and then... SNAP! they gobble it up! i feed them about 8 or more each.

nice axolotls i always had to much trouble with pellets they are way to messy

reptomin are pants cos they float, i'm hunting around fishing stores at the moment looking for soft salmon pellets too I'll say if i find a branch with some

Dear All, I would appreciate some help identifying P. waltl disease and treatment. We received newts from Europe early November and a few maybe 3/70 had what it looked like lesions under the legs- at that time we thought maybe it was the stress of travel- now we think they probably had "red leg syndrome" (see picture). However a few weeks later other newts started to develop skin lesions (picture enclosed). The sender recommended to use sulfamerazine and we have treated them 2x and we are not sure they are all recovering. Does anyone have any experience with P. waltl diseases and could give some input on this? Any input would be greatly appreciated! Thank you.
