Just seen the most amazing creature!!

Hi all

I have just returned from Beijing Aquarium where I have seen my first Giant Chinese Salamander (Andrias Davidianus). It was truly an amazing sight! I never imagined that a sal could get so big!

Has anyone else had any experience with these monsters? I think that they are great hehehe.

I've never even seen one of those amazing creatures in person yet. I'm quite jealous! I really want to see one of these amphibian behemoths. I think they're absolutely beautiful (and everyone I know thinks I'm nuts.)

ah yes, the wonder of the giants

. You cant help but be impressed, and want to see more. Look through posts in the Large Aquatic Salamander forum on this message board, lots of good pictures, even one of me holding a Japanese Giant in there somewhere .
