I just have the long boring wait to cycle ahead of me now :p I'm thinking about getting one or two more (obviously growing them out away from Shaggy Dog if I get little ones). Any thoughts on stocking for a 25 gal? two or three?

Cheers,
Shadow

Looks rad! I'd add some moss balls.
Does your HOB filter have space for bio media?

That's a really good idea to use the piping on the filter!

The tank looks pretty tall, so I would stock it with two. If it were long/breeder I'd say three, but the floor space doesn't seem big enough for three lotls running around. Then again if you get some slabs in there to make multiple floors it could work nicely for three. :)

Thanks! I've got the one little one I need to find a place to pick up some bigger Marimo. And yeah there is space behind where the regular disposable filter pad slots in, I have the seed filter in that spot now. It also has the biowheel thing that was previously in a seasoned tank.

Thanks! I just went to lowes and started going through the PVC fittings for something that looked useful.

I have more of those tiles laying around maybe I could stick some PVC legs on them to keep with the aesthetic I have going, cheers!

That PVC pipe under the filter is genious.

From what I can tell by the picture I would only stock two max. Like someone else mentioned about multiple floors MAYBE three.

I made a second floor from my old tank - night work for you too? www.caudata.org/forum/f46-beginner-...ers-substrate/95706-utilising-tank-space.html

Thanks for the ideas, that shelf is cool! And I'm pretty pleased with the filter set up so far. I tested for current with a bit of floss and got no movement.
