YEY, i popped out for three hours today and came home to find an empty egg :O after searching the tank for a few minutes, i found a baby axie!!!

Ive set my brine shrimp a hatchery up and popped the eggs in now

Baby axolotls do well when fed every day, it is a good idea to get two hatcheries on the go , providing daily bbs. Bbs lose their nutritional value very fast , if you just want to run one hatchery you can store them in a container, with light aeration and feed activated yeast in very small amounts.

Has anyone got any experience with feeding axolotls daphnia right from them hatching? ive got 17 in one tank with plants and im finding it difficult to make sure they are all eating? i thought if i got some baby daphnia and put loads in the tank, would they eat these themselves without my input?

any advice would be much appreciated as the oldest is 3 days now and i dont want him to starve
