Jumpstart a cycle?

Im setting up another tank for my male wild to separate him from my female, would I be able to jump start his new tanks cycle with a cycled filter that my turtle uses?

Can you use mature media from your axie tank?
There's nothing wrong with using it from a turtle tank other than the risk of cross contamination.
