Is this what I think it is?

I have never seen something like that is it alive. It could be like i dont know errrrrrrrmmmmm dead fish part, invertibrate.
 
It can't be ANY of that horsyqueen. My axolotls are kept alone (as they should be) and don't eat anything but worms and the occasional pellet.
 
Oh I thought you said that they were kept alone.
I think it might be one, but i really can't tell from the picture, but if there is one of each sex then it probably is :)
How do you feel about egg's?
 
It could have smushed. I noticed it after they were on an eating rampage.

From what I can tell I have 2 boys and 2 girls. I would ADORE some axolotl eggs!
 
Then hopefully it is!
A Male can leave anywhere from 5-25 of them around the tank, so chances are if it is one, you will find more, but don't worry if you don't, I didn't find a single one, and then all of a sudden.. baby's
I also think I have read somewhere that there is usually only a few not always 5-25, all they need is one right?
