My little ones Xo Lo and Tl are growing fast and I was wondering if it was time for them to get bigger tubs and if so what would be suitable? they each have a little delicup things that was used for storing waxworms (for my geckos) as little caves and a little glow in the dark stone for them to climb on.The tubs where used to travel my geckos in so they are a bit bigger/deeper than takeaway tubs.

I'd say that you can keep them like that until they are about two to three times that size and them move them into as long a tank as you can. from what i've read, and what i did myself, i wouldn't mix them until they are close to 6 inches long, because thats when they leave the cannibalistic stage.

i'd be worried about the edges of the plastic containers though...are their skin is soft and scrapes easilly, and cut plastic can be sharp/rough.

I have a 6ft long tank waiting for them for when they are past the cannibalistic stage :) but don't mind getting bigger tubs for them (a tub each )as they grow so was wondering if this was too small and when I should upgrade :'D.The contanier cups cut out doors had the edges sanded, they don't feel rough but also they don't really use them so might just take them out but kinda wanted to have something for them to hide under as my room is light ,any ideas?

i have had mine in a largish tub which i bought in the pound shop its plastic and i think it was supposed to be a storage (non food) container but it holds aprox 4 - 5 litres (sorry i didnt check which country you are from...maybe you dont have poundland:rolleyes:)

I have tons of poundlands around here! so many of them even have 3 in one shopping center lol,I am thinking of getting a 2L under bed storage tub for them and dividing it so it's one tub with 2 sections :) the two wild types are currently living together as one of the tubs broke (dog got hold of it while I was cleaning the other one) and so far all is good but not sure how long that will last. The breeder hasn't had any issues with cannibalism in many years but I'm still wary to keep them together lol.
