Hello, I got my 4 months Axolotl named Lucoa, he was around 5 inch right now, loves to chill and swimming actively at night.
I got some fungus problem on him and do salt-bath manually for 14:30 minutes, 2 tsp for 1 liter, I've been doing this many time before to get rid of Fungus and it works fine though I end up must take it off gently. on the last two salt-baths which has 1 week difference, I add more 1 tsp salt which is 3 tsp salt per liter, the first bath seems fine and the 2nd one which is today with the same time and the same amount of salt and water do something on him. he's been scratching both sides of his gills many times and the gills looks weird now, is it because too much salt or too long? what happened?
I added ice packs after I moved him into his tank and he seems fine now, it's just I still worried what happened, here I took a picture while he's on salt bath and after (the gills)
