Is this other creature compatible with a newt?

Is it harmful for my newt to be in a full tank (with a floating rock) with angelfish, an eel, and others?
 
dont eels eat fish? stands to reason, an eel would eat other small, slower-moving-than-fish organisms......
 
My eel is still young and even smaller than my newt. The temp was lowered a few days ago but I'm still worried that she might hurt them or they might hurt her?
 
the temperature requirements for newts and tropical animals dont overlap. if the tank is cold enough for the newt, its TOO cold for the fish/eel. if its warm enough for the fish/eel, its too hot for the newt. either way: someone's not going to thrive.
 
and if you're that worried about someone getting hurt, why do you have them in the same tank? if you even THINK one animal's going to hurt another, putting them together is asking for trouble.
