Is this gill fungus, or hust

Doesn't look like fungus to me. Fungus normally looks like a big cotton ball stuck on there. The light bits just look like iridosphores I think, although I'm not sure if they're normally on the gill filaments. It would be good to get a second opinion, but I don't see any issues.

My golden has similar coloration; as far as I can see from these pictures, it's just iridiphores, which often appear or develop within the first year or so. Nothing to worry about there!
This gills do seem to be a bit curled however; this is likely to be the result of either a) too much flow or b) incorrect water parameters, issues which should be resolved ASAP.

Hi! Vet confirmed as an bacterial growth by using a culture sample, as the browning blobs stuck to the gill filaments kept growing in size and number throughout the gills during tubbing.
Exotic vet recommended MB, 3-5 drops per gallon for 24hrs over the week until 3 days after symptoms disappear.
Took a couple weeks but his gills are now growing back

Hi everyone. I am really confused about this I noticed my 5 month old Axolotl George has curled gills. I did my research and I found out it can be due to high temperature - his tank is at 20 degrees Celsius as the moment. I went to feed him blood worms this morning and his gills were perfect, they were what they looked like when I got him but after 5 or so minutes they were curled again what does this mean? Thanks, Eoin
