My newt has been looking a little wierd lately. She's acting completely normal, eating all her food, and gained a LOT of weight. It's just that by her back legs she has small bumps. They're not even really bumps, they just look kind of scaly. They're not really noticable. The other day, she was clawing around her abdomen in the water and it looked like something was really bothering her. I am assuming this could be a skin problem...is this bad?

(sorry for no pictures)
