Is she fretting?

I have recently separated my male and female axies because after a few months of waiting they still had not breed. It will soon be my end of year holidays and i didn't want any high maintenance babies during that time. I think she was ready to breed as her tummy is very full. Anyway after taking out the male the female is now VERY active swimming around all day long (she use to rest during the day).
Now i'm not sure if she is fretting?
Is is bad for her if i take the male out while she is full of eggs?

Not sure what to do???

Any advice will be appreciated

hmm I knowI'm not very helpfull here because I'm new to it but both of my axolotls did that for about a week in their new tanks. is she the one you have moved?

One of my girls does that, and she's so fat with eggs, she's lucky her feet touch the ground.
My theory is that she's trying to find a male who'll do his job properly, so that she's not carrying around all those eggs!!!
Maybe at the end of your holidays, put the male back in. (Only thing I can really think of, sorry)

If she's not around a male that will do a suitable job as 'sperm-donor', she'll reabsorb the eggs. This is not harmful for her.

Thanks everyone for the advice.
I plan to put the male back in with her in January, so hopefully by then he will have missed her so much he will do his job properly.
