So I need help. I got 2 axolotls Cheeto who is we realized a female and mochi our boy now they were 3 months old in February when I got them they were growing awesome but now Cheeto is much much smaller than mochi I mean way smaller and isn't eating will that great. Now they are spoiled and will only eat frozen blood worms. I have tried bigger worms, salmon, shrimp brine and regular shrimp, they refuse to have anything too soon with any of them especially the bigger worms like it transfixed mochi the one and only time he ate one. So I need to know if it's the food there eating or not eating or of shes possibly sick I'm so worried for her. Please help. I would send pictures of them but I just started here today and don't know how yet. Help please

it’s possible she’s a dwarf. i would suggest posting pictures so we can determine whether or not it is
i hate to say this as it sounds incredibly cruel, but perhaps stop feeding them for a while and only offer nightcrawlers. they will either go hungry or learn to eat. of course if they start looking thin, feed them.

Ok I will send pictures in a bit I'm not home yet and they won't die if I stop feeding them?

What's a dwarf

a dwarf is someone ore something that is extremely short. for humans people are counted as dwarves if they are under 4.10 feet tall.
here are some images of dwarf people and axolotls.

Dear All, I would appreciate some help identifying P. waltl disease and treatment. We received newts from Europe early November and a few maybe 3/70 had what it looked like lesions under the legs- at that time we thought maybe it was the stress of travel- now we think they probably had "red leg syndrome" (see picture). However a few weeks later other newts started to develop skin lesions (picture enclosed). The sender recommended to use sulfamerazine and we have treated them 2x and we are not sure they are all recovering. Does anyone have any experience with P. waltl diseases and could give some input on this? Any input would be greatly appreciated! Thank you.

sorry I am having a hard time trying to upload the pictures- I have them saved on my hard drive... any suggestions-the prompts here are not allowing for downloads that way as far as I can tell. Thanks
