Hello,
I am very new to axolotl and I have gotten two of them recently (roughly 1.5 week ago). They have been doing very fine, up until this Friday. Since the begging I have been feeding them live blood worms as well as frozen ones, however, I have moved onto live earthworms as they seem to like them more. Since my axolotls are only 5 months old and are around 5-6 inches I bought small worms that I still have to cut up in order for them to eat them without problems and without spitting them. however, I have noticed that my axolotls do not poo. They have been acting very lively lately and tend to swim near the the top of the tank and across the whole tank - after reading some it might be due to constipation. I don't really know what to do with them?
Also my second axolotl has one of their gills tilted to the side, looks like it is "broken". When I got it, it was missing 3 limbs and was very underweight for some reason, but I just couldn't leave it, so I got it. It gained weight and their limbs are growing back, however I noticed last night that their gill is slight tilted to the right and looks as if its broken...
