Question: Is flourite safe?

I have researched it a fair bit but no answers, i have bought flourite to put in some pots in my tank, they are fully sealed and will be covered will sand, is this safe or will it mess around with my water quality and harm my axies?

Its safe. Will not alter your water parameters by leaching minerals, it will actually absorb them, so suppose it could actually lower your water hardness, i dont believe it is measurable or signifigant.
