What are the steps I need to take if I ever add more newts to my current tank?

I want to add new H. orientalis to my standing tank eventually, and I doubt that just adding the animals in is the correct way to go about it.

Are their certain steps I need to take? Do they need to be quarantined even if I received them from a member on this site?

If there is an article about adding animals to an existing tank, please direct me there.

I've always liked using the Lee's Firebelly Landing habitat for H. orientalis in quarantine. It's easy to monitor, clean and maintain without too much fuss. Toss a small live plant to help with chemistry and give the guy some shelter. Some would say 90 days, but if the newt is eating and healthy six weeks is good.
