Introducing my first axie Rosa!

Yep, my tank has finished cycling with the goldfish (I palmed them off to my uncle who has a huge pond)and now I have my axie and a snail!

It was funny at first because when we put her into the tank she was soooo shy, but after we gave her a feed she really settled in. Moving around the tank, swimming around a bit, and posing!!!! Omg she poses so much. Well I had to get my digi cam out and take some pics... they aren''t good quality but they are ok (still trying to work out the whole reflection flash problem)

When I got her she was with this other axie and it had all it's gills missing, the guy said it got washed into the goldfish tank next to it and the goldfish ate it

Anyways Rosa was shedding her skin when I saw her in the store tank, it has stopped now...I think.

She did grab ahold of the snails' foot but let it go, the snail is huge by the way so there is no way she could ever swallow it. (I made sure I got the biggest snail in the store tank!)

It looks really great. I think that you could use a little less sand. Too much sand can be unhealthy in an aquatic environment.

Ok here are some more pics. She likes to pose!

The background is the one that came with my tank. I've seen more backgrounds in the aquarium shop, like big rolls of the stuff.

The snails (I have 2 now, a black one and a white one) are called apple snails. Funny thing happened tonight, my white snail found a bit of earthworm, attatched itself and sucked its insides out.

All this happened 5 mins after I fed her lol. The white snails' name is 'Slimey', haven't thought of a name for the black one yet. Any suggestions of a good snail name?

Hmmm....a good name for your black apple snail: Sherlock or Robert. I had an apple snail whose name was Sherlock (pictured in action below), since he was always searching for clues. I love your pets, they all look healthy and happy!

Hey Luke, I read about a nice trick for your flash problem on this site somewhere. Tilt the camera upwards a little bit when you take pictures. That way when the flash bounces off of the glass, it goes over the camera, instead of back into it's face. That seemed to work pretty well for me.

Yeh i've tried all the cameras angle and still nothing works. So i'll just buy a better camera lol.
