Introducing Maxi

This is a blurry photo of Maxi, the largest of my juveniles (Get it? Maxi the axie, the largest, we also have Mini the smallest!). It's a bit hard to make out on this photo but he has lovely markings on his face and down his tail. I think he's very handsome (even though I don't know whether he's a he or a she yet!)
I've decided to keep keep Maxi and depending on whether he turns out male or female, he'll be sharing the four foot tank with Mum or Dad.

Oh what a lovely axolotl! I can see Maxi has inherited those lovely long gills from the parents .
