Today while feeding I found 15-20 eggs laying on the substrate which appear infertile. I have scoured the tank for a large cluster but found nothing but the few on the substrate. They have been moved into a small breeding net box to monitor. Could more eggs come? Do axolotls lay eggs all at once or? This is a first time breeder. Also I have a 60 gallon heavily planted tank so not ruling out having a hidden cluster.
