Question: Im planning on getting a newt(s)!

Im going to my local reptile expo on June 22 and hoping they have newts! Ive been looking into spanish ribbed newts and fire bellieds. It such a hard decision though.. I want them in my 29 gallon.. I will have a turtle dock an i will take this ish out.. The current substrate is sand but i would be willing to change it.. I think i'll just want one spanish ribbe or two fire bellies.. Can the species mix? Also, if they dont have any at the expo, does anyone know if backwaterreptiles is a good place to order them? Thanks! (Sorry if this is confusing, im new to all this!)

You might have to be happy with whatever you find at the expo, the most likely thing they'll have is axolotls. Is it the Hamburg expo? Then see M. Shrom's table. Or keep reading the "For Sale" ads here.

thanks for the reply! but no its not the Hamburg expo.. its the East Coast Reptile Super expo in Oaks, Pa. and are axolotls similar in care to the spanish ribbed newt?:rofl:
