I rescued two firebellies from a VERY misinformed pet store the other day. One is no more than a skeleton - I can see all of his bones. The other has a little meat on his bones but is either covered in pale whiteish sores or has bites taken out of him.

I'm looking around for some small bloodworms to try and coax the little one to eat. What should I do about the other?

I have a large tank with five other firebellies in it. The two new ones are isolated in a small tank. Should I isolate them from each other?

Keeping them separate would be somewhat better, since you don't want the pathogen causing the sores to spread to the other one. However, if they were together at the shop, it may be too late for this to do any good.

Some people have reported improvements with sores on firebellies by treating with strong antibiotics. But without testing there's no way to know if it's bacterial, viral, fungal, who knows. I assume you've found the relevant articles on Caudata Culture?
