Just wanted to share an awesome product that I recently purchased. Two silent fans on a long USB chord and it comes with the wall adapter as well as having an additional USB port on the chord. This means that if the two fans weren't enough you could then plug another fan into that port, if it's the same product you could literally have as many fans as you can fit on top of your tank all chained together and it would only take one spot in your surge protector! Over all I'm very happy with this purchase and I do believe that if you don't have either a chiller or fans then your axolotls aren't really being kept in optimal conditions, ice bottles are not a reliable form of cooling and fluctuate temperature too much, and when the price is $15 can we really have any excuse to not keep our axolotls cool?

I know this sounds like an infomercial, but I promise I'm not affiliated in any way and just think that this is exactly what every axolotl owner needs in their life! (Unless they have a spare $300 laying around for a chiller.)

Lucky reptile do a similar product that you can buy which can fit four fans into one plug (more expensive than these but if you need to save space...) wish id seen this before buying it because i only use two!

That looks very cool and I might be interested in buying those in the future!

How do you aim them at the tank? The last thing I would want is one to fall in! Thats why those clip-on fans from ebay seem safer, but with my tank lid, I don't have a way to properly mount them

I set up an egg crate hood using zip ties as hinges so I can lift it up and such, they sit right on top of it pointed directly at the water. Brought my tank from 74(axolotl was not in it prior) to 66.
