Hi there! We had some what we thought were frogs eggs brought into my classroom in May. Turns out they're salamander larvae from the Southern Tier of New York State. The are doing great, we've had them roughly 6 weeks now. They're eating blood worms and whatever they find in the pond water. We really didn't expect them to do so well! We haven't lost a single one! I brought them home to finish raising.
My question is... We don't know what they are, and would like to start thinking about the best habitat to set up for them soon. We're thinking that they're spotted sallies? I'm hoping my pictures work! Thank you so much!
