Identify this please.

I have found this stuff in 2 places in my tank. Not sure if it is from the CFB's or the Snails in there or if it is just an algae/bacteria. Any input is appreciated.

not the CFBs....
It may be the snails depending on the species of snail.

looks like the snails i normally get in my tanks, luckily they are the nice non-cone shapes snails that wont eat all your plants, if you look closely at the mass you will be able to see mini snails in there

definatly snails. you must have some big ones.
